               Sri Lanka is a beautiful island with many different kinds of animals. One of the most famous animals in Sri Lanka is the elephant. Sri Lankan elephants are large and strong, and many tourists come to see them. Leopards are also special animals found in Sri Lanka. There are many other animals such as monkeys / deer / crocodiles / and different kinds of birds in Sri Lanka. They live mainly in jungles and national parks. It is our responsibility to protect these animals and their natural habitats. We protect the beauty and richness of our country.

During this time, the sacred tooth relic is carried in a grand procession with dancers, drummers and decorated Elephants. Many Buddhists from all over the world come to worship at this holy place. The Dalada Maligawa is a very important and beautiful place. It is a symbol of Sri Lanka's culture, religion and history.
