                 The butterfly is a beautiful insect. It has colorful wings and flies from flower to flower. Butterflies drinks nectar from flowers. They come in many colors like blue, white, yellow, green, orange, red, and black. Butterflies are found is garden and parks. The life of a butterfly starts as caterpillar. Butterflies are harmless and look very cute. I love butterflies because they are colorful and peaceful.

This temple is important because it houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Ever year, a famous festival called the Esala Perahara is held in Kandy. During this time, the sacred tooth relic is carried in a grand procession with dancers, drummers and decorated Elephants. Many Buddhists from all over the world come to worship at this holy place. The Dalada Maligawa is a very important and beautiful place. It is a symbol of Sri Lanka's culture, religion and history.
